Ponyo, Tea, and Huge Salads

So, today, I saw Ponyo (for the second time, but in English!) and it was good, again! It was actually more humorous in English than in Japanese, but that could be due to subtitle-reading and such. I recommend people seeing it, even those who are really mature and stuff, cause it’s not that childish, really. Really.

Before seeing the movie, I had an interesting “lunch”. I wasn’t all that hungry, so I decided I’d get a chicken salad, and instead, I got a chicken greenhouse. The salad was HUGE. I know, ironic, how I wasn’t hungry so I expected the salad to be not so filling. Unfortunately, I didn’t want to waste the food, so I tried, and I emphasize tried, to finish it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t. I also got a yummy strawberry smoothie thing from jamba juice. :D

After the movie, bubble tea! Coffee milk tea w/ small tapioca balls. I think I prefer the big ones. Or as someone specific put it “I like big balls better than small ones.” …. Sigh.

An interesting day, a good one :)

Ahh! School starts in basically a week. I still have a certain Environmental Science assignment, it shouldn’t take too long, a couple paragraphs per article… 10 articles… I just need to somehow focus!

And then I’ve got to read Catch-22. It really is confusing, interesting and confusing. Joseph Heller, I am quite annoyed.

Is life always so twisted? Ups and downs everywhere. The other day my dad made a reference to how life is like a road, it’ll never be just plain straight, life always has its right and left turns, its uphills and downhills. Its crashes. Sometimes we don’t want bad things to happen, but they end up happening. So whens something good happens, appreciate it! Mini rant end!
